Ruby: Dobie mix- Ruby is a spayed female Dobie X. She is approx. 55lbs. Medium coat. She is approx. 1 yr. Old. She was found by a kind Veterinarian and brought to FPAR. She is very timid probably due to harsh handling .Ruby is a people dog! She knows many basic commands and should be an easy dog for most anyone. She has already proven to be a wonderful watch dog. Though she is young, she is quiet, well very mannered & dog door trained. Ruby would do best with someone that does not work long hours. She is great with all critters (large and small). Gentle with the cats, goats and horses. Her play buddy is "Ginger" a small Jack Russell, play for hours. She's a real snuggle bug once she get to know the people around her. Ruby will curl up next to you for hours. Ruby has not been around children, they seem to frighten her... She rides nicely in a car. She needs someone that can give her lots of love & reassurance. She has a very kind quiet nature & just wants to please. She needs no more bullying in her life… just a bit of kindness & encouragement.

Ginger: Jack Russell Terrier- Ginger is an approx. 1 yr old female Jack Russell Terrier. She is a busy girl… on the go most of the time. Ginger is good with dogs and cats (depending the cats). She is very well behaved but will need a strong caregiver to keep her strong personality in check. She is playful, sweet, loves walks and fetches a ball. She plays with the other dogs nicely and will share with her toys. Ginger is dog door trained but needs a very secure yard due to her small size and vulnerability. She is quiet for a small dog!! Will need lots of exercise and mental stimulus to keep her happy. She is a very nice dog!!

Swizzle: Hinze 57- Swizzle is an approx. 1 yr old (as of 12/10/07) female. She’s a medium large hinze 57!!! Swizzle is marked just beautifully. She is an energetic lovely young girl. She loves to carry her toy around. Rides nicely in a car. Gets along with other dogs and walks well on leash. She really has a kind heart but will need a family that will give her plenty of exercise, discipline and lots of love…she is very young at heart and has a playful nature…Swizzle is very willing to please. We are not sure how she gets along with cats.

Paddy: Aussie Terrier mix- Paddy is approx. 3 1/2 yrs old. She maybe a Aussie Terrier X. She is a medium size dog. Black and white medium coat with a long tail. She has plenty of energy. She gets along with her roommate"Winston" ok, but she is a dominant female. She is plenty friendly and loves to go anywhere. We are not sure if she is good with cats. She loves her walks and to be brushed. She is at the perfect age. Old enough to know right from wrong and young enough to be some fun...

Iggy: Corgi Terrier Mix - Iggy is an adorable neutered male Corgi/ Terrier mix. Cruelly abandoned and mistaken for a fox in someone's backyard, we brought him here as a scared and distrustful dog. It has taken some extra work and TLC to get Iggy to once again bond with humans after his tough start. In fact, he still needs that special someone who is willing to be patient with him as he continues to work through his issues. A happy companion, Iggy loves to tag along with us here at his foster home as we go through our day. He gets along well with other dogs and cats, and even tolerates the goats and horses at a respectful distance. Iggy loves to play and, once he gets to know you, appreciates a good ear rub and gives kisses in return. Iggy is both house and dog door trained and is very well behaved. He will be a super and unique addition to a caring and loving quiet adult home with no children around.

Handsome Rio: Shar Pei Mix - Approx 4 yr. old (as of 9/11/05 )neutered male. Rio is a sweet boy, happy for any attention and just wants some one to be with. He is a little timid around men but will warm up once he sees that they mean no harm. Rio came from an abusive situation and would need a friend who understands his concerns. He is very respectful of people and other dogs and would make a loyal companion.

Doc: Cattle Dog Cross - Doc is a medium-sized neutered male cattle dog cross approximately six-years-old (as of 10.12.06). He is a very loyal and obedient boy who loves to go for rides and walks and play in his pool. Doc is a very dominant male who needs to be in a strong home with no other dogs and with no children!!! He wants to be your one and only and will repay your loyalty ten-fold. A super love bug, he relishes human attention and companionship. Doc will make a devoted and caring pet for the right and caring owner.

Brom: Pit Bull Mix- Male, born 1/30/07, 6-1/2 month old, black and white pit bull mix. Brom has only three legs due to being possibly hit by a car. He’s neutered, current on his shots, micro chipped, crate trained and knows how to use a doggie door. Brom’s got a fabulous heart and a very, very gentle disposition. He is perfectly willing to allow anyone, including smaller pups and children, take his toys, food, bone, whatever, without any fuss. He’s good with puppies, older dogs and with cats. He hasn’t had a single accident in the house and knows what going “out” is and will always take the opportunity to use the bathroom outside. Brom is a exceptional young man with a wonderful personality. He'd be a great pet for anyone, young or old!!!!!
